We had so much to celebrate yesterday! Not only was it Children's Day, but it was also your daddy's birthday. Sometime Daddy can be a hard one to shop for, but when I saw this cooler, I knew what to do. Since we moved a few months back, your dad has been missing his (somewhat large) lunchbox. I thought this would be perfect to pack all of his food and items in that he needs for work. Next, all we had to do was figure out what to fill it with!
You are definitely your daddy's son, so it goes without saying that you think he's the coolest! Over the past few days I thought about all of the things you do with your dad that qualifies him as "cool." After a made the list (gardening, feeding the birds, car rides, cooking you breakfast, meeting you at home for lunch, playing outside, making you laugh) I tried to find different things that represented each item on the list. I tied or wrapped each set together and put a little sign on them to explain what they symbolized. Here's how our little present turned out!
We began with the card!
Here are some of items that were inside of the cooler!

Tire cleaner and microfiber towels.

A trowel with pumpkin and watermelon seeds.

A Frisbee, bubble maker, and bug spray.

We also added a Subway gift card, coffee, and some Laffy Taffy for all of the giggles!
When everything was labeled, we stuffed the little gifts in the cooler for Dad to open. You loved helping him dig into his present...especially the card! It was a fun birthday surprise and Daddy was so excited with your gift!

What a fun collection of items! Great ideas for Father's Day, birthdays, or other special occassions.
