Memories of our Korean Dol Party (Baby's First Birthday!)

This past year, of course, has flown by.  As I prepare for your second birthday party, I can't help but reminisce about last year's celebration as well.  Last year was very special because it was the first time that we drew upon your Korean and American heritage during a special event.  In Korea, a baby's first birthday is called a dol and there are several elements that we included in our party that was celebrated with family.

You can read more about our doljabi ceremony here.

I was so excited to be able to share what makes a dol party unique in a guest post featured at KidWorldCitizen.  The full post can be found here.  In the meantime, here are a few special moments from that day to look back on and enjoy!

Thanks so much to Design by Aly for capturing all of these wonderful memories!
