Mixing Feed for the Farm Animals

I just love setting out a bunch of items and seeing how you manipulate and play with them.  Today I asked you if you would like to feed your farm animals, so I gave you some oats, rice, wood clippings, and water ~ then I watched your mix up your own special brand of feed.  We talked about what food items you were scooping into the bowl, what each animal might like to eat, and you told me when more of something was needed.  You had so much fun playing with these materials as we enjoyed another warm day outside.
