For many years now I have been waiting to celebrate the holidays with my children. I couldn't wait to try and make them special like my family did for me when I was little. Even the more low-key holidays always included foods and little presents that made me feel so special. We have almost been through a whole year of holidays with you, our little man, with the exception of Easter and Korean Children's Day, which are yet to come! Valentine's Day was extra special because we got to share it with some of our extended family as well. I decided to celebrate a little early so that we could be together without rushing here or there for our Valentine's breakfast. So we woke up Saturday morning and began the celebration! To our surprise, the world was painted white with snow, which added a little excitement to the day!

Heart shaped pancakes with strawberry jam, whipped cream, and strawberries!

Opening up your presents! Elmo silverware, Elmo pj's, and a rubber ducky!

I love your expressions when you open presents!
After we had our yummy breakfast and opened a few gifts, we decided to go outside and let you play in the snow for the first time. You weren't too thrilled about getting all bundled up, but it was very windy and cold. When we finished, you thawed out in a warm bath with bubbles that Grandma and Grandpap Guappone got you! It was so cute to watch you figure out what to do with the bubbles and why they were there.

You almost feel backwards because you were too round and puffy!

Umm, what is going on here?
|
Ok, I'm getting used to this!

Get these bubbles off of me!
