This year has been quite a journey for every member of my family. We've had many memorable moments that have been scattered throughout the year 2012.
One of our favorite activities that we did this year was our Out of the Ocean ~ Story and Small World. It reminded me so much of warm sandy beaches and the waves crashing about. The book is a gem as well.
Our most popular post of 2012 was The Mommy Meltdown Basket. Every mom needs a small basket of ideas for those moments when you've come to the end of your rope!
The following pictures are some of my favorite memories that we shared as a family. Being outdoors so much this year was the best decision that we made ~ just look at the special moments that we have to show for it!
Sitting on the stoop collecting rocks.
Exploring a sensory garden on vacation.
Taking our favorite books outside to read on the steps.

One of the many picnics at Ohiopyle.
Coloring with chalk at your birthday party.
After dinner walks with the family.
Playing train in the living room.
Hanging up bird seed ornaments for the wildlife out back.
Making a snowman during the first big snow!
